The first part of the book is a collection of 5-7-5 syllabic constructs in the pattern of haiku/senryu/tanka/haibun poems, while the second part consists of mostly longer free-form verses, born out of imaginings that the author has extended into attractive graphics to accompany the poetry. The poems have been selected from published and unpublished works of the author written from 1974 to 2023, while the illustrations have been developed by the author using a combination of traditional digital drawing programs and the new generative AI drawing applications.
